A new adventure has begun for Poggio Molina!
Of course, we can't really say we're dissatisfied with what we've achieved so far! But our family has always been curious, eager for new experiences, new projects and new challenges! In short...we like to put ourselves to the test!
That's why last year we decided to give concrete life to a desire that had been in Adriano's head (and heart) for some time: to produce our own Belle Bolle!
On the other hand, our most affectionate guests know: at Poggio Molina everything is at kilometer, dare we say, at meter zero! So the fact that one of our flagship products was not produced entirely on site was a bit of a stretch for us! So we turned to our oenologist Roberto Muccifuori, a great expert in the field of bubbles, to complete the production of our Belle Bolle completely in-house, from the grapes to the finished bottle. This new adventure has meant putting ourselves to the test once again, learning from those who know more than we do, trying, experimenting, sometimes failing, but without ever giving up we made it! A new test, a new investment in work and equipment and in the end a new great satisfaction!
Last spring the preparation of the cuvée, shortly after the bottling, the addition of the yeasts strictly in the bottle as is the rule of production with the classic method, the second fermentation and now the transfer in the pupitre.
Here....we could have waited for the disgorgement and the subsequent refinement in the bottle to officially present you the new Belle Bolle, but the barrique cellar with this new look is too beautiful, too magical not to show it to you! We couldn't resist!
